LIL : My Contribution To LMAC || Leaf Footed Bug
Hello everyone,
Insects in general have a different character. Some insects are very beneficial for farmers and some are harmful. Insects are born from eggs and will later metamorphose and then become fully grown adults. As in this post, this is an insect Acanthocephala. These insects are not wild and are often found on leaves, trees or shrubs. This insect has a body size of almost 1 Inc. and has compound eyes and 4 segmented antennae.
Acanthocephala terminalis is a species of leaf-footed bug in the family Coreidae Wikipedia.org.
Acanthocephala insects have a distinctive proboscis like true insects. Uniquely, this insect is very tame, but when we experience a threat, this insect emits a foul smell. That's one way to protect yourself from enemy attacks.
