A Perfect Museum for all Nature Lovers
Good evening Hivers and welcome back to my blog.
Today's adventure begins at the Civic Museum of Natural History in Pordenone, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region (northern Italy).
The museum is housed in the beautiful Palazzo Amalteo, a historic building located in the old town.
My visit to this museum warmed my heart with its many interesting collections covering zoology, botany, and geology.
Upon entering, the first thing you see is a faithful reconstruction of a mammoth, approximately three meters tall. It's a jaw-dropping start!
The museum is divided into numerous rooms, dedicated to different branches of natural science. One of the most interesting sections is the one dedicated to insects, birds, and mammals.
Here, you can take a 50-minute walk, encountering countless animal specimens. Each species' habitat has been recreated, creating a truly remarkable visual effect.
The part that amazed me the most, however, was the one with the skeletons. Knowing that such large and imposing creatures once existed on our planet is truly incredible!
I hope you enjoyed your experience at the Civic Museum of Natural History, and I'll leave you with some photos I took during the visit. Thanks for reading!
See you next time,
Delilha
Delilha

Yes it's true, they are very realistic 😍 thanks for your comment 😊
Beautiful post, nowadays as parents we have lost a lot of interest in taking our children to the museum, now everything is digital, what a shame!
It's the sad true...
