I visit the Troy Peninsula🌍⚓ / Visito la península de troya📸🧭 (En-Es)
Good morning, friends! Today I took a short trip to the Troia Peninsula, located south of Lisbon, about 60 km from the city center. In my experience today, I want to show you how to get to the peninsula, describe a few places you can visit, highlight the nature of this area considered a nature reserve, and give you the chance to see some 2nd-century Roman ruins in person. We'll conclude the Troia experience by traveling from the port to the city of Setubal on a catamaran, the local transport boat.🚩🏞️

¡Buenos días, amigos! Hoy hice un pequeño viaje a la Península de "Troia" en el sur de Lisboa a unos 60 km aproximadamente desde el centro, en mi experiencia de hoy quiero mostrarte como llegar a la península, describir un poco qué sitios puedes visitar, resaltar la naturaleza de un espacio considerado reserva natural, además de poder conocer en persona unas ruinas Romanas del siglo II, cerraremos la experiencia en "Troia" viajando desde el puerto hasta la ciudad de Setubal en el "catamarán" o sea el barco de transporte local.🌄🚙
Where is "Troia"🌍🗺️/ Donde queda "Troia"🧭🚩
There are two ways to get from Setubal to Troia. The first is by car and drive around the entire peninsula, entering through Alcacer do Sal and Comporta. Remember my post about the palafitos? Well, that's the way... It's a long way around, and you'll use a bit of gas. Plus, it's a road prone to heavy traffic in the summer. This was exactly the route we took on the way there, but on the way back, you have a ferry to take your car across the river, and that's the one we'll take on the way back.🏞️🚩
¿Existen dos formas de pasar desde Setubal hasta "troia", la primera es con tu vehículo y dar la vuelta por toda la península entrando por "Alcacer do sal" y "Comporta", recuerdas mi post de los palafitos? Bueno por allí... Es una gran vuelta y consumirás algo de gasolina, además de que es una carretera propensa a tránsito elevado en verano. Esta fue exactamente la ruta que hicimos en la ida, pero en la vuelta dispones de un Ferry para pasar con tu carro el rio y es el que tomaremos de regreso.🧭📸

For a fee of 6 euros per person, you'll have the privilege of exploring two kilometers of Roman ruins considered the largest and most beautiful in Portugal. For an additional fee, you can opt for a tour that explains everything you're about to see. Personally, since there are signs explaining everything, I didn't see the need to pay for the tour. This area is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.🚩🧭
Con un coste de 6 euros por persona, tendrás el privilegio de poder recorrer dos kilometros de unas Ruinas Romanas consideradas las más extensas y bonitas de Portugal, y con un coste adicional puedes optar por un Tour para que te expliquen todo lo que estás a punto de ver, en lo personal como hay letreros que explican todo no vi necesario pagar el tour. No es un área con capacidad de recibir personas con movilidad reducida.🚙🌄
"Troia" is named after a famous walled city. In this case, it's the remains of a Roman civilization that inhabited these lands in the 2nd century AD. Within these walls, we can learn the technique of salting fish, which the Romans learned to preserve the prized white meat. In this photo, do you see some pools? Well, they were filled with water to prepare the fish. But the citadel had multiple uses, and if we continue exploring, we'll learn more about its culture.🧭🌍⚓
"Troia" lleva el nombre de una ciudad famosa amurallada, en este caso se trata de vestigios de una civilización Romana que habitaron estas tierras en el Siglo II después de Cristo, dentro de estas murallas podremos aprender la técnica de salar pescados la cual los Romanos la aprendieron para conservar la preciada carne blanca, en esta foto ves como unas piscinas? Bueno, estaban llenas de agua para preparar los pescados. Pero la ciudadela tenía múltiples usos y si continuamos explorando aprenderemos más sobre su cultura.🚩🚙🚙
I want to emphasize that all the knowledge I share was learned at the facilities, so I can say that the information is my own. The Romans used clay jugs for various purposes. In this case, they were essential for placing seawater in pools and sometimes they also brought fish inside them. Later, we will see a gutter system for thermal baths.🌍📍
Quiero resaltar que todo el conocimiento que comparto fue aprendido en las instalaciones, por ello puedo decir que la información es de mi propiedad, los romanos usaban las jarras de barro para diversos usos en este caso eran indispensables para colocar el agua de mar en las piscinas y en ocasiones también traían los peces dentro de ellas, mas adelante veremos un sistema de canaletas para unas termas.🗺️🚩

It's curious how in the citadel we can see what an old restored house looked like, they were very advanced for that time, it had its patio, a clean water system through aqueducts, another thing that I found even more beautiful to photograph is the cemetery, that tells us that it wasn't just a city of passage, it was a city inhabited permanently, and that we see in the movies how they burn the dead, but in reality burying them was the most common practice in Portugal.🚩🚙
Es curioso como en la ciudadela podemos ver como era una casa antigua restaurada, eran muy avanzadas para esa época, tenía su patio, sistema de agua limpia por medio de acueductos, otra cosa que me pareció aún más bonito para fotografiar es el cementerio, eso nos dice que no solo era una ciudad de paso, era una ciudad habitada de forma permanente, y que vemos en las películas como queman a los muertos, pero en realidad enterrarlos era la práctica más utilizada en Portugal.⚓🌍

This area was essential to the citadel, and contained the thermal baths, a set of public pools where men mostly bathed and relaxed while socializing or healing the tension and wounds on their bodies after long battles.😮😮
Esta área era indispensable para la ciudadela, en ella se encontraba las termas, un conjunto de piscinas públicas donde mayoritariamente el hombre estaba allí tomando baño y relajándose mientras socializaba o sanaba la tensión y heridas de su cuerpo luego de grandes campanas.📸🏞️

Troia is a very small city; we could explore the entire city in less than two hours, but it's always been known as a wealthy area. I think singers like Madonna own property here. To give you an idea, you can't buy a property for less than €1 million, and depending on the area, everything in the center by the marina costs over €2 million. And we see it on the streets: everything is clean, well-maintained, with tennis courts, golf courses, and any activity related to wealthy people.😮😮
"Troia" es una ciudad muy pequeña, podríamos recorrerla toda en menos de dos horas, pero siempre fue conocida por ser una zona de ricos, creo que hay cantantes como Madona que tienen propiedad aquí, para que te hagas una idea no puedes adquirir una propiedad por menos de 1 millón de euros, y dependiendo la zona, pues en el centro por la marina todo es por encima de dos millones. Y lo vemos en las calles, todo limpio, bien cuidado, canchas de tenis, golf, cualquier actividad relacionada con personas con mucho dinero.🤑🤑

In "Troia" there are several official trails that you can explore either on foot or by bicycle, and you can improvise others yourself and explore the entire peninsula from one end to the other. I made this short film called "Passadiço em Madeira" (Passage in Madeira), and it has a sign that tells the story of the peninsula that was once presumed to be an island.🏞️🚩😮
En "troia" existen varios senderos oficiales para tu recorrerlos tanto caminando como en bicicleta, otros tu mismo puedes improvisarlos y recorrer toda la peninsula de punta a punta, yo hice este corto que se llama: "Passadiço em Madeira" y tiene un letrero donde se cuenta la historia de la península que antes se presumía que era una isla.🌍⚓🚙

Avoid returning by car to go north; you can take the ferry for only 26 euros for two adults and you'll have a beautiful experience on the river. The public transport boats are one of the most beautiful activities in Troia, and I will always recommend taking the boat back so you can see the peninsula from another perspective.🌍😮
Evita devolverte en carro para ir al norte, puedes coger el ferri por tan solo 26 euros para dos adultos y tendrás una hermosa experiencia en el río, los barcos de transporte publico son una de las actividades más bonita de "Troia" y siempre recomendaré tomar el barco de regreso así ves la península desde otra perspectiva.🚩⚓
If you're lucky, you might see a dolphin in the river on the way to Setubal. There's a second floor with a panoramic view, as well as a lounge where you can sit and enjoy the sun and wind. This tour takes approximately 20 minutes.
Si tienes mucha suerte podrías ver algún delfín en el río mientras vas camino a Setubal, tiene un segundo piso donde tienes una vista panorámica, también una sala para sentarte y cubrirte del sol y el viento. Este recorrido dura aproximadamente 20 minutos

normalmente ranchorelaxo vota los post que siempre estan top más votados en las horas siguientes, no estoy seguro como funciona pero siempre mis post mas virales son los que recibe el voto, y bueno ya tienes 71 de reputacion sabes como funciona hive para llegar a ese punto, delegar, invertir, estar activo, post de buena calidad, yo siempre pongo como ejemplo: para que pagar mucho dinero por algo que puedo conseguir gratis afuera? Ahi es donde tienes que invertir. Estuve revisando tus post tienes muchos que no llegan a 1hbd eso te puede decir que estás estancado, o sea tu contenido en las comunidades donde publicas no atrae las ballenas, necesitas un "refresh", claro el boom aqui en esta plataforma son los viajes, ese es el topico o unos de los que mas dinero genera! y viajar no significa salir del pais, muchos de mis post son cerca de donde vivo a menos de 30km, y son senderos. son ideas que te ando dando! fulldeportes recibe senderos.
