Which output power did you use? I think it's a good result considering such low height of your antenna! Do you use any tuner between your transceiver and antenna?

I used and I usually use 100 Watts. The Yaesu FT-450D has a built-in ATU (Automatic Antenna Tuner). I am regularly using that. I have good experience with it. It can tune a lot of things, including a random length of wire. I am using it with this 30 meters long wire antenna. It can tune this wire antenna on any radioamateur band between 1.8 MHz and 50 MHz.
