Yes I know all of this well enough, but I do not think it will always be 1/3rd. In time, and with higher prices, many of the sellers will sell and many more will be content selling less.

It's an interesting question where the equilibrium will be. A large amount of STEEM on an exchange or not does not equate high volume. It has to change owners.
yes. but the volume can be price volume, not coin volume - which is what exchanges care about.
100 Steem transferred between parties now is worth 22 dollars., @ 10 dollar Steem, it is worth 1000. It makes a massive difference.
The equilibrium will shift depending on how the ecosystem develops and where price moves. Supply and demand in all areas
