I had no idea that Tinnitus is as common as it is, and it's nice to see that there are efforts underway to help people to deal with it.

I've never experienced tinnitus, but I had an ear infection a few years ago, and I remember how the sensation was so distracting that it occupied nearly all of my mental attention for a few days. I can imagine that a ringing in the ears would have a similar effect, so I am glad that you have achieved the level of acceptance that you describe.
