They say; Keep your eyes on the road"

This guy above is an accident waiting to happen hahaha

Please don't look around for an itch while driving lol.

Today we will have a look at some beach finds, as there's always some action going on here.
We deliberately visit the isolated sections of the beach so that we can slip our masks off to breathe the sea air.
I was talking to a friend earlier @abh12345, as he is away in Spain and from tomorrow they will also have to wear masks on the beach!
Not a nice, or very comfortable thing to do!

Met this fella playing with some sea grass and he is still a pup!

087.JPG

Earlier we saw him playing with this truck that he must have nabbed somewhere, but I could not get a photo as he had his back to us!

093.JPG

Check how this rare "Oyster Catcher" bird steps out!

So this Cormorant is on his way to a rock and I will show you why!

There he is to the right of the guy drying out, awaiting his turn to pop up on the rock!!

A lovely landing here by the gull on the rock!

You see? This is the way to drive! Keep your eyes on the road!

Ever stop at a traffic light and it changes to green "Go" and the person in the car in front of you is sitting typing on their phone that's on their lap?
Or a lady has turned her rearview mirror down and she sits doing her makeup in the mirror.
No wonder that we hear a hundred hooters honking like seabirds every day hahaha!

Life and it's brilliant technological inventions have become extremely distracting. A guy almost collided with us, cutting a corner in his car while talking on his mobile phone with the other hand. Oh! And a person's life ends when they lose their phone. What is life doing to us folks?
We have all become enslaved to technology to such an extent that it is ruling our lives.
When last have you switched your phone off to spend a day or two in freedom without it?

And That's All today from my side folks!

Sunning on the rocks, can't blame him needs to warm up in that cold water down there, not to mention the awful weather you have had. Nonetheless the skies are blue and the gull is keeping a check on bad drivers from above!

Excellent photography the Oyster catcher we seldom see this far up so always nice to see one Stephen, drive safely never sure what is worse the reckless attitude of the people or the virus.

Thank you Lady Joan and the weak sun shone so lovely on the mountain's snow covered tips today.
That is really fridge water there that the birds have to swim in. I got the cormorant with a fish in his mouth, but the photo is not clear, so I will get a better one.

They are also scarce here my friend, as I heard that oyster catchers breed in a small colony near Betty's Bay, but about 5 of them popped up here.
Thankfully the traffic is lighter here due to less cars due to covid and we don't travel much.
But I am used to the fast pace up north and here you can eat your lunch while waiting for the traffic to move on.
I picked up one fine since we are here to the amount of R2000 for skipping a red robot. Happened for the very reason that I explained here in the post, as when the guy decided to get going, the light was on orange and it changed to red while I was crossing at a slow leisurely pace behind him.

But such is life hahaha.
