Hello fellow hivians! Here once again from nerdboard bringing you what you need to make your computer fit you.

Windows has a lot of everyday features that don't serve. A clear example is Google Chrome. Very few people use Internet Explorer -or whatever their evolutions are called-. Those who use it are not aware of the advantages of a modern browser.

Another case is the video player that comes by default. Who uses that junk? Does anyone even know its name? The list is endless.

So this post is dedicated to improve those natural weaknesses.

1- Reduce Memory*

Windows 10 is inefficient at cleaning the ram. Its way better than windows 8, 7 and of course vista. But its not enough.

That's why I present you this little jewel.

A fabulous and minimalist memory controller. Once active, it automatically clears the ram memory every 15 seconds. Works in the background without intervention. It can be configured to the user's liking.

By default it is programmed to start when the system is turned on. But this can be changed. Personally I start it only when I need it. I open it after a long working session and then close it again.

2- AdGuard Adblocker no more ads.

(Chrome - Opera - Mozilla Firefox)

For my part I install this effective and super lightweight ad blocker. Look for it under that name in the Google Chrome Store (or your favorite browser). It even removes ads from YouTube. IMPORTANT! Once in the browser gives you the option of an APP for windows. DO NOT DO IT. It's a paid trial version. It's not worth it. The browser version is free.

3- VLC Media Player

A multi-format player, very minimalist but at the same time very complex. Completely free. Exposing all the utilities of the VLC is material for a separate post. It fulfills its function impeccably.

With a more commercial profile, unlike VLC has a Pro version.Its free version shows no advertising. BSPlayer has a unique function. It identifies that we are playing and recommends subtitles. Find the most suitable in different sites. It can fail if we see something not very well known. But most of the time it hits the target.

4- Tixati - Torrent

For those who do not use it, I simply recommend it without any doubt. It is the lightest stable and customizable client I know. Completely free without a premium version.

5- KeePass - Password Manager

A tool that everyone in the cryptosphere should have.It is neither safe nor wise that ALL of our passwords are managed by google . This program is THE solution. It generates an encrypted file where to store (and generate) our passwords. It serves to back up google accounts. I did a whole post a few years ago on Steem. I'm going to translate it to english in a future post.
