Jupiter, Saturn & the Moon Astrophotography

It has been a clear night which means the telescope has to be used and first chance to try my new astro photography camera. I am using a Celestron Nexstar 4se OTA on a goto mount guided by starsense, the camera i am using is a SVBony105 attached to my laptop using Sharp Cap, processing of images where done in PIPP & Registax.

My first pic of the night was of Saturn which i find amazing and it is 1.5 billion Km from earth at the moment and takes light 1hour 24mins to reach us, my photos will never be like you see from professionals as i only own a small scope but i am happy with my first attempt in a very light polluted street.

My second target was Jupiter and i am really happy with this one, you can see banding on the planet and also you can see 4 of Jupiters moons, just like the pic of Saturn i am fighting against light pollution and a bright moon.

My last pic was of the moon, i wanted to get some nice shots of moon craters so i attached a barlow lense to add some extra magnification. I added a moon filter to stop over exposure and turned down the contrast as it appeared to be super bright tonight.

Very cool! Almost as cool as Australia winning the cricket World Cup.

Wow, really beautiful.
I've always wondered how it would be to just relax and gaze into space, but time has not permitted me just yet. And this post of yours has awakened that hunger, I'll have to get to it really soon.
Thank you for sharing.

You dont need a telescope to enjoy the stars just a comfy chair and a clear night. Binoculars can be good for the moon and some planets
