Did you have fun taking this thing apart and understand how it works? You've probably already learned a lot about it, even if it couldn't be fixed at the end :)

I was thinking the same thing. This experience will end up serving him well in the future and the fact that he made a real attempt at it was appreciated. Not a failure at all...

Lol, yeah. Quite fun when you can actually figure out whats going on in it. The experience is beginning to serve well I believe. That's exactly why I never considered it as a failure when I couldn't provide the final solution.

Yeah, It's always fun to me whenever I explore the engineering world. You know, like they say, you derived joy from doing what you love to do.

Indeed, I've learnt a lot about the maintenance and repairs of house hold appliances in time past. So I'm confident in myself whenever if comes to working on them.
