Murphy's formula: Whatever happens will happen

Not a single thing is found at work '- people who have never said a word may not be found. You are sitting in the bus in a traffic jam, thinking you will walk the rest of the way. No matter where you went, the bus passed you. Or he changed the lane by looking at Google map in annoyance, after doing so he saw a jam there too. Such things happen all the time in our lives, but have you ever thought that there could be an explanation for this?If not here's a new product just for you!

Murphy's formula says, "If anything can go wrong, it will." It is not Murphy's formula that proves its existence in any mysterious power, but in reality we have perpetuated it. We always expect our daily activities to be in our favor, but when obstacles or adversities arise, we find the cause. But as long as everything goes well do we ever ask ourselves? After walking a hundred times along a slippery road and slipping once, we say, "Does that just happen to me?" But we ignore the positive side of walking so many times before.

Murphy's formula takes us from the positive side to the negative side. With the help of mathematical possibilities, it turns out that whatever happens will happen!

★Murphy's formula but not actually the formula!

Murphy's formula is not a formula but a philosophical doctrine. Or proverbs or hypotheses. The sub-sources of this formula are also innumerable. Not too old, not too new. Although named after Captain Edward Murphy, it has been mentioned in many places before. The sorcerer Adam Hall wrote in an article in 1926 that the things that go wrong in a sorcery must be wrong. Also known as Sod’s law in Britain. However, Captain Edward Murphy discussed the 'Murphy's formula'.

Captain Edward Murphy was an Air Force engineer. In 1949, officers were conducting a test at an Air Force base in Murok, California (later renamed Edwards). The test was about gravity, how much gravitational acceleration a pilot could handle. Their idea was that the results obtained from this would be useful in the design of the plane in the future.

Edward Murphy did not have to ride a sled. Then some sensors are made to measure the force of gravity. When the sensor was first tested, the reading was zero. Murphy checked and saw that all the sensors were installed incorrectly. His assistant was responsible for installing these sensors. Murphy then said, "If there are two ways to do a job, and it would be wrong to do it one way, this guy must do it that way!"

Shortly afterwards, Captain Murphy left for Wright Airfield, but the humorous and resourceful Dr. Stop Murphy found a different consciousness in his words. He later told a news conference that the rocket sled team did not have to face any danger as it was aware of Murphy's formula. He further explained that whatever goes wrong will go wrong!

It then became popular with the general public and a book was written on it in the 1980s. Since then it has been augmented by adding more different ideas to Murphy's formula.

★The way Murphy's formula became universal

What is the reason behind the popularity of Murphy's formula? The rocket sled sensors had two connectors. In other words, there was a 50 percent chance of planting properly. But why was the mistake seen? The best explanation is what we call 'fate'.

‘Whatever is written in destiny will happen, everything is powerless to destiny’. These thoughts control us. But one thing that clashes with the writing of destiny is our free will. That is, no matter what we do, we carry our own actions and the consequences. If we put these two things together, an explanation of Murphy's formula stands. This formula says, we will do what is wrong again and again. But the desire to make this mistake comes from ourselves. Murphy's formula, on the other hand, tells us how uncontrollable we are. We blame our own destiny for the longest traffic jam.

Murphy's formula, however, does not prove anything. This can be called a general doctrine or proverb. But we forget, when something bad or wrong happens, there are more things involved in nature. As Rudyard Kipling said, no matter how many times you throw a loaf of bread, the butter will always stick to the ground. One thing is for sure, the buttered part is a little heavier than the other part. When we throw from the top, the heavier part will be on the bottom because of gravity. But the opposite can also happen, then we just have to figure out the right reason without leaving it to fate.
