Rear collision warning!

Yesterday I was slowing down when approaching a traffic light which was red. Already 3 or 4 cars were in front of me. Normally my instinct makes me look in the rear mirror to see if the cars behind me are also slowing down. But for some reason I didn’t do this.

Suddenly the safety belt did take me into firm grip.
All bets did automatically tighten firmly. And with firmly I do mean firmly. It was almost that a grizzly did want to hug me to death. It just grabs you unto you seat. It appears that also whiplash protection is enabled.
And yes a car behind me just missed. The fool was driving way too fast. Luckily no accident did occur!
While all of the above are great safety measures and still did scare the shit out of me. No, not literally 🤦‍♂️.

We are getting close to the point that cars are being smarter than the ones driving them. In some cases that isn’t hard at all and I do think that an oldtimer of 50 years is in some cases already more intelligent than some drivers.
People do forget that a car is a potential murder weapon!

Have a nice weekend.
Do drink enough and for once I do mean water to combat the heat!

Cheers,
Peter

I live in an area where it seems that rocks and telephone poles are smarter than many of the drivers.
