The world inventions: The history and the case of the Olympic Games!
The Olympic Games are Games where athletes compete to win as much as possible, and to win the gold medal. And the Olympic Games are in development, and hence the arrangement of any of these Games should be the best Olympic Games ever! Every fourth year, there is arranged an Olympic Game, is there is no global pandemic or other things that are destroying this tradition, and this way of doing the things.
What was the origin of the Olympic Games, and how did it all start? Which leaders are doing decisions on these areas today, and what about the statements of sense and nonsense going on on the international arena? Nowadays, you are blamed for what you are, due to your life, and to how things are written and said different places.
The history of the Games goes back around 3,000 years, to the Peloponnese in Ancient Greece. Sports contests organised at Olympia took place every four years and acquired the name Olympic Games. So, the Olympic Games are going long back in history, and it is organized games where you can compete with the things that are allowed to use. How many Games are there in any Olympic Game? There are Olympic Games going on in the summer and games going on in the winter. Currently, the Olympic program consists of 35 different sports, 53 disciplines and more than 400 events. The Summer Olympics includes 28 sports with 38 disciplines and the Winter Olympics includes 7 sports with 15 disciplines.
We do not know exactly when they started, but the date of 776 BC is often cited in written sources. The exact reasons for the birth of the Games are still unknown, as history has become mixed up with mythology.
The four-year interval between the Ancient Games editions was named an “Olympiad”, and was used for dating purposes at the time: time was counted in Olympiads rather than years.
The Olympic Games during the summer should be held every fourth year, and it was planned to be in Tokyo in 2020, and thereafter 2024, and such each every fourth year. Due to the Corona-virus and the Corona-pandemic, the Olympic Games for the summer 2020 was postponed to 2021. And this was decision the leaders, and the state leaders had to take. It is planned that the Games should be arranged in Tokyo from 23 July to 8 August 2021, but early in 2021, it is still uncertainty around whether this will be possible to implement.
The President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, talked by telephone on Monday 25 January 2021, and discussed the progress of preparations for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. The IOC has selected Beijing, China, to host the 2022 Winter Olympics and the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo to host the 2026 Winter Olympics. Accordingly, there are 4 years between each Winter Olymics, and the Olympic Games must not happen too often.
It is status and prestige for the countries that are participating in the Olympic Games to get as many medals as possible, and also to get as many gold medals as possible. We should be engaged with good mood and smile to make pleasure. And such is the situation, although many of us know that Pierre de Coubertin, who was the founder of the modern Olympic Games said that: «The most important is not to win, but to participate! This has been an expression for good sportsmanship! And the countries should send good athletes to the Olympic Games, and in media we can just communicate in some ways what is happening and how, and maybe why!
The Olympic flag has a white background, with five interlaced rings in the centre: blue, yellow, black, green and red. This design is symbolic; it represents the five continents of the world! So, we are coming from different countries in the world to take part in the Olympic Games, and that is the market philosophy with the brand and the flag to the Olympic Games!
