Tottenham Hotspur have spent in the region of around $1.3 Billion building their new 62 000 seater stadium. It is thought to be the most advanced stadium in the world. They have a number of firsts even if their football doesn't match the high standards set by the stadium. I am impressed from what I have seen as loads of thought has gone into this as this is not just another stadium.

What you see here is the first stadium that has a solar bed to help the grass grow. Due to the height of the stadium it blocks out what little sunshine is available in England. This helps make the grass grow all year round.

The pitch is made up of three massive trays each weighing around 10 tonnes. The pitch can be moved if for instance they need the grass to grow under the special LED lights underground in the car park. If the stadium is hosting a pop concert then it can also be moved or another type of sporting event like NFL.

You can see quite quickly where all the money has been spent and how other stadiums are looking a little old and left behind. The whole pitch is set up on a smart system with all the data at the groundsmen's fingertips.

I think even someone like me could grow the grass without any problems. I look at the stadiums I know were built for the 2010 World Cup and those are already lacking 99 percent of this type of thing. Those don't even have proper drainage.

Away from the field beer has always been associated with sports fans world wide and this place caters for everyone. This place even has it's own in house brewery. An average match day this small brewery sells around 25 000 pints and this bar isn't the biggest one either.

The Goal Line bar is 65 meters long and is the longest in Europe and can pour 20 000 pints every 10 minutes. On an average match day this bar will serve 65 000 pints. The smart system shown in the video above is the secret as it takes only 5 seconds to pour one pint of beer. Using a magnet stopper which seals off the hole once poured. This is one way to start making your repayments on what must be a massive loan. Half time is short so making the most of this short buying period is crucial.

I have been to many stadiums around the world and to be fair nothing comes remotely close to this one on what it offers. With restaurants and bars dotted around on the various levels all designed to empty your pockets on match day. I used to eat before matches away from the stadiums as all that was on offer was some sub standard pies or a cheap burger. This place though is posher than anything I have seen at a sporting venue.

The other stadiums around the country rely on the club shop to generate extra income yet what Daniel Levy has done is given fans a reason to arrive early and spend money that would have gone elsewhere. The entire set up is mind blowing and one which I can see being envied by opposition supporters hoping their teams offer something similar in the years to come.

Obviously all these businesses are seasonal with match days being the big money spinner. These businesses would be praying for Champions League football next season as they need as many match days as possible.

Howdy sir cryptoandcoffee! That's just amazing and I'm sure other cities around the world are going to be copying this one as much as possible! Great write up.
