Pressure - Inktober Day 9
The formula for pressure is : P = F/ A . The idea of physically applying pressure came to mind first, but then I thought to myself, “I might as well draw the formula!”
Then the funny beef between Facebook and Apple popped into my head so I went for it. Then the arithmetic topic of “Changing the subject of a formula” crossed my mind too, but then I said hell no, lol. Math definitely was and isn’t my strong fort, but I’m really pleased with the results of this piece.
PROCESS
Materials: Staedtler pencils, UniPin Ink Pens, Sinoart Sketchbook
I had it in mind to fill the boxes in with the results from changing the subject of the formula, but I ditched it and went for something else
I sketched out flowers and inked over them carefully
I intended to use a specific type of shading for the apple logo, but it looked like it wasn’t coming out right at first and was on the verge of painting the whole logo black and slapping highlights on, but I felt nudged to continue with the shading. It’s not what I had in mind but it looks really cool!
