We Should Recycle & Repair More Electrical Goods In Our World ♻️

Today has been a very problematic day for me, as our bathroom shower has not been working properly for several weeks. I thought that the pump might be the main cause of the water being too hot and just trickling from the show head. However, the various plumbers I spoke to today are just not interested in fixing or repairing anything! ~ Only replacing it with a brand new shower unit.

I find it really sad that Plumbers don't seem to want to spend any of their time repairing anything. They only want me to buy a new shower, rather than try to fix whatever the problem might be. When we visited the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts, there was a train that traveled through the "sugar cane" fields.

The train also passed a massive "Scrap Yard" full of broken trucks, vehicles and other mechanical parts. The tour guide said that very few people had the money to buy "new" items and locals preferred to buy used parts at a much cheaper price. A form of recycling you might say!

Many years ago I enjoyed repairing many electrical goods like hoovers, radios, kettles, toasters etc. Nowadays it seems to be such a throwaway World with nothing worth repairing anymore. Many Electrical parts very quickly become obsolete in just a couple of years.

Washing machines, Computers and Televisions are good examples of this...

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?

It really is sad. My father used to have a repair shop (back in the late 70s and 80s) and would fix all kinds of things including kettles, washing machines, hoovers, etc. Back then they were expensive, and people could not afford to replace them, they had to get them repaired. Its quite different these days with the prices of these goods tumbling relative to earnings, although her ein the UK you can recycle electrical goods at most recycling centres - but what happens to them after being left there I dont know - but hopefully it is done properly, with the harmful materials removed, and the useful materials being put to good use.

Yes, I remember many Repair Shops" like your Father's business. So sad that they all seem to of disappeared from our everyday lives!

These "Recycling Centres" are at least something good though 👍

I miss all of the old electronics stores that used to be everywhere. Nowadays the companies don't even want you to repair anything; they just want you to buy a new one.

we should repair things if we can but we often don't know how to repair these electronic items and often we have no tool for repairing.

This is a nice one@andy4475.
It is good to repair bad things, but I think that there are things that are always beyond repairs and if it is being repaired, it could spoil again. So people like things perfect, and would not want to repair every time, because they see it has waste of money. And for the plumbers, repairing a particular thing for so many times make them very tire of their work.
