[Week 127] Lunar Sunday (I am an astronaut) 🌔🌌🪐

Good night friends! I am pleased to participate in this contest, while checking my account I saw that a digital contest was open in which we had to tell a story and BOOOOM!!! It came to my mind that I could contribute something interesting to the community and tell them a little about how I did NOT become an astronaut hahaha Enjoy my experience!🧠🌌

I'm not an astronaut but I see the moon very close🤓😄

When I was a child I was fascinated to observe the sky and the stars! remember that in the nineties it became popular to see the solar eclipse using "glasses"? well at that moment I began to fall in love with the universe! My parents could never buy me a telescope because I was born in a humble family. However, when I had my first job, do you know what was the first thing they bought me? Well of course a very basic telescope! xD and then little by little I entered the world of astrophotography even though I don't have a professional telescope because they cost 20 thousand euros! I know how to get the most out of my celestron! What I love most about this hobby is being able to teach people, when I'm out there photographing some planet curious people always come up to me and I take the opportunity to share everything I've learned!

First of all I would like to mention that I am using an astromasterEQ-130 telescope, this special edition comes with its guide command that helps to focus a body in the sky without having to move the telescope, this helps me a lot when photographing! then I use various accessories to improve the quality of my photos such as filters, supports for phones and cameras, in addition to using the "Starry Night" program that helps me find the details of each planet, star, moon !! little by little I am becoming an expert studying all the moon phases but I was missing this one with 70-/+% brightness🤓📚🌔🧠🕵️‍♂️

Well the moon today 11/13 is in its "waxing gibbous" phase, this means that it is in a phase where it has a brightness of "77%", this lunar phase is very interesting because it occurs after the moon has passed through its "full moon" phase lasts approximately seven days and as the days go by it loses its illumination and many astrophotographers agree that when it loses brightness it is better to photograph its details!👩‍💻👨‍🏫🧠🌔

The moon "changes" position depending on the hemisphere, so maybe the moon as I show you is not the same in your hemisphere, however in this phase and using an "orange" filter we can see the "Sea of rains" in great detail "The "Crater copernicus" and "Ocean of storms", that is, the spots you see on the moon were called "tides" because their discoverer: (Van Langren) thought back then that they were real oceans! amazing, right??🌔🌌👩‍🏫😲

When the days go by then our beautiful natural satellite will emit less brightness and will reach the point of going through the phase: "last quarter" in this lunar phase it has a brightness of 50% we could then say that it is illuminated only by half! the moon in the waning gibbous phase appears on the horizon at 9:00 p.m. here it is 10:40 p.m. therefore I can see it in an acceptable size, more or less at midnight it will reach its highest point in the sky and here It looks much further!🌏🌔💥

I don't know if you knew but there is an interesting fact about the moon that I would like to share and that is that the moon has been the fifth largest satellite in our solar system, that is, there is not a single moon there are many moons in the satellite for example Jupiter has many moons and some of them are visible using a simple binocular!😲🤯🤯

Here we see a nice photograph of Mars that today was close to the moon and despite not being the best time to see objects in the sky because the moon shines so much that it makes observation difficult, we can see some details by editing and using filters in this case green is good to highlight "spots", in the case of jupiter i didn't get a good picture of it, it was very bright however we see all the details like its moons the image is superimposed it's not natural to see them like that!🌔🌏🧠

I think it was worth the effort to stay home and be able to learn a little more about our universe! I managed to record the moon in a new lunar phase, if you want to learn more about astronomy topics I recommend you to be attentive to my post!
