I am still a proud Purdue engineering graduate, but when I got a fundraising request for the Purdue Day of Giving today I first went to their website and saw pictures of masked people. I then read their "Protect Purdue" policies. Anyone remember the Soviet Union or East Germany besides me?
I wrote this response to them:
Until Purdue stops worshipping the covid cult instead of doing real science (the kind Francis Bacon would recognize as following the truth wherever it leads), I give not a penny. Stop abusing students with CDC/Fauci faux science/politics and tell the faux experts what they can do with their masks and lockdowns. Be American instead of a Soviet/CCP surveillance state.
Either the vaccine works or it doesn't. If it works, you don't need to care what anyone else does. If it doesn't, then admit it and decide if you really want to wear a mask for the rest of your life. Again, what anyone else does is none of your business. This is not rocket science. I would think a university so closely affiliated with rocket science would recognize this.
