I think you're very right. One of the main issues with cryptocurrency investors is that a lot of us were very young when we discovered it with no education on simple financial principles. Now that we're in the proof of stake/Web3 revolution I believe that whoever stays true to buying and holding long-term is going to see unimaginable returns in the upcoming decades. For me its pretty simple now at this point . I buy, I stake, I cash out half of my staking rewards and reinvest the other half. I research new projects that have good fundamentals, real-world utility, and use my staking rewards to diversify my portfolio. My personal belief is that it's better to be wrong about spending 10K on cryptocurrencies this year than it is to potentially miss out on hundreds of thousands of dollars from buying and holding. I personally never plan on selling all of my cryptocurrency I'm going to collect staking rewards from good Layer-1 blockchains until I die.
