I suspect that cryptocurrency will usher in a large number of financial innovations.
Governments are likely to oppose these innovations because they are often difficult to tax and control.
Crypto is likely to foster political battles between the people who want the benefits of the innovation and rulers who desire control. It is definitely the most interesting game of the day.

Definitely, I agree with your first statement, in fact crypto has ushered in a number of financial innovations and from the looks of it, in the end the government won't have a choice
