Reply to this comment to make comments about the need for and/or ways to implement a ‘Deadman’s Switch’ for Hive.

The main idea is to implement a quick and reliable way for any witness who is targeted by a malicious court order to forfeit all incoming witness votes and return those votes to a ‘consensus pool’.

        This sounds good, depending upon how the consensus pool works. Would the pool then vote for witnesses based on a consensus achieved by Hive users, and if so using what consensus mechanism? If using The Matrix-8 Solution this would definitely get my vote.
