What is an AMA?
AMA is a format popular on Reddit where one person offers to answer questions for a limited period of time.
How long will I answer questions?
I will usually answer them pretty quickly, and I should be around for a few hours. I will continue to answer them as they come in. I am going to hop out in a few hours to go see Violent Santa but will be back to answering questions after.

I have reviewed some of the the previous "AMA". Especially about the crypto world. There is a serious price drops / decline right now. There are also big problems in the world economy.
HIVE price is of course affected by these troubles. Instead of powering down, I'm thinking of powering up day by day and owning more HP. I'm a newcomer to the platform and I'm asking this question from the heart. Especially as a citizen of a country in economic turmoil.
How many hive power should I have on average to make some profit both as a content creator and with curation rewards? What do you think is a good start?

I can't really answer this for you. This is something you need to decide based on your financial situation and how involved you want to be.
I will say don't invest what you can't lose, you don't want your livelihood to be at jeopardy because you can't sell immediately. Take care of your day to day needs, then go from there. DCA is a very viable option.
Your suggestion is really right, yes, I am planning to make an investment that will not force me after I improve my economic situation a little. I think I will wait for it to fall for a while, but if prices suddenly rise, I am afraid to be upset that I missed it this time. Let's see what time will show.

Out of curiousity how do you safely store your crypto and still make it accessible to your beneficiary if you were to pass on?
And have you found yourself having to pay any tax for exchanging or selling your crypto for gains?
You don't have to reveal personal information but maybe share recommendation?
There are a lot of options here, some exchanges will facilitate this for you with a death certificate, you can use a lawyer to pass on custody, you can train them ahead of time on how to use your hardware/software wallets. There are a lot of ways with various levels of trust required.
It is unavoidable once you make any signifciant amount. It isn't worth the risk.

How would one do this without trusting any one party?
I'm thinking half keys/details to two different people.

Or which exchanges would provide access with a death certificate to nominated parties and without legal representation named up front as executor, please?
It depends and it can change, but I believe Coinbase and Kraken do.

Do you foresee a mass exodus from Twitter or will people tolerate the antics of the new owner because that's where their friends are?
I think people are leaving Twitter, but people don't tend to have convictions, they will scream and shout they don't like something, then they do nothing about it.
In the end, I don't think that will be what is Twitter's downfall, I think Elon is doing that on his own. I mean the Blue Checkmark is a perfect example of how fucked Twitter is.
I will always say that you cannot generalise about people. Some have very strong convictions, but they are a small minority. Having billions on social platforms is still a pretty recent innovation and we're still trying to understand what it means. I've been put off centralised platforms by bad experiences, but I may still exploit them when they are useful to me.
Any plans for ape mining club or you are done with it?
I have no official announcements for it at this time.

On Hive, I think the biggest thing will be smart contracts. A lot of doors open when that happens.
I think the use of blockchain in supply chain can be really big.
Wen smart contracts? Do you know if the core devs are working or even thinking about implementing them in the future?

What can Hive learn from them?
DeSo (BitClout) is basically a Postgres database. Deso is an extreme nepotism environment. Unless you are in the inner circle who got a ridiculous amount of tokens or showing nudes, you can expect nothing there.

I have no idea what Postgres DB is.
Postgres is a database, and yes not a blockchain. From what I heard it is basically a centralized database. I haven't got too far in into the tech myself. I did use it for a bit and found it a massive good ol' boys club.
The thing is, there is no inflation, so you are basically giving away money every time you try to reward something.
And DeSo got so much VC funding for building this shit. xD
VCs need to reevaluate their priorities.

What's the most unusual food item you've ever tried?
I'm pretty conservative eater, I don't like aa lot of unknowns. I can't even think of something unusual I have eaten. I'm a steak and potatoes, pasta, turkey dinner type of person. I love BBQ and grilling, but unusual isn't really me.

So... not heckling or trolling. Curious and want to know who's who in the zoo because I like to understand a bit about people. And I don't bother listening to other people about people.

The only way you can know a bit more about someone, if you're responsible enough to avoid gossipy gossip and politics, is to engage with them, right? To see how they "work".
Sometimes I provoke people a bit to do that. It's a quick way to feel someone out. I think we all do that though, really. But I can be extreme.
I also engage to support... because 4 auto downvotes on every comment seems a bit extreme even by my standards.
Also... I'm having a blast at the moment and am full of shit because it's been a really long time since I've had blast. So long I forgot just exactly how much fun it is.

Who pushes the button?
When and how does the blockchain "decide" when something becomes immutable?
There's a window period, right? How long is that window period and how is the inability to delete or update posts and comments set into motion?
I assumed (never a good idea, I know) that it was set to happen after a specific time.
Now I'm curious as to how much pull a Witness has to:
as individuals.
And how does this work if so? Does the blockchain then need to "agree" or can one Witness do that themselves?

There are no buttons to push.
Once super majority has confirmed the block. With recent change, that's able to be done in one block most of the time.
You can always edit posts and comments, you can always delete provided the rewards are $0 or less and there are no comments below it. You can get comments deleted and flag a post below $0 to delete it even if it had comments/votes in the past.
Only the people with the private keys can edit/delete posts and comments. Witnesses have no power in this regard.

This is able to be edited permanently so one can add to a collection on an ongoing basis. Or does this also become immutable at some point?
You can add to a collection at any point, but a collection is not a native blockchain feature, it is magic done by PeakD.

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services but I may have to increase the 0.8% fee to 2.0% if I continue to be unfunded.
Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #244 or consider unvoting the HBD stabilizer explained below.
For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I will also redraft this proposal with more details (coming soon). I'm also looking for other funding sources.

It’s fun but I felt like my hands were constantly being tied preventing me from doing things and enjoying it. I gave it a break to finish other games. I’ll eventually finish it.
