RE: Welcome problems of hardforks

It is really as you say: we have become accustomed to having solutions at our fingertips and we forget that we are thinking entities with reasoning capacity, imagination and creativity which we can use in a logical way to solve problems.
We adults are doing this and the worst thing is that we are letting adolescents and children do it too.
I try to instill in my 14 year old son to reason before doing things, to think about how he can solve a problem by analyzing its pros and cons before calling me to guide him, to present me with alternative solutions.
Thank God he loves reading as well as video games...hahaha.

But, Hardforks are exciting for me. I am not a coder, I don't run an app, I have very little I can do technically - but each one brings me into my element again, at least the element I used to thrive within - disruption. Every change to the blockchain code is going to have an effect on every single part of the community, however slight that may be. Because of this, there are new problems to face, new tools to use, new resources available, some items taken away.

This means leaving the "comfort zone" and sometimes it costs us, and not everyone is able to face changes with the attitude that you assume (should be the rule) either by ignorance, fear or laziness and the worst thing is that any of these reasons is perfectly defeatable only if one wants to.
