Thx for this write-up, I agree! What I recognized is that given the case that hive is in interaction with "the fiat world" where not everyone understands what's going on behind all these technical scenes projects even partnerships can evolve. For instance: I pitched myself as a blogger and was asked by the CEO to give some blog samples. Not every high quality posts I wrote so far received the deserved upvotes and payouts, luckily I self-voted some of those in the "bidbot era" that you mentioned and I could present those as samples with the "right numbers". If I had presented all the qualitatively better posts with lower payouts then I would have been judged as not being relevant, I would have been rejected and the cooperation would not have happened in the first place. My pitch was successful and the partnership with the company still exists to this day
