Marketing can do magic - do we need one ?
With some niche marketing, consumers gets habituated
Ever seen a person selling everything on a bike ? It's no less than a shop - you will literally get all household items and that too they are cheap. Of course it may not have the best quality, but the point is that, you get it - something that is affordable and will run well. Earlier these people used to come in bicycles - they will have a loud voice that will catch your attention. With time, they have changed the operation procedure - now they come with a mike - it is played with some digital ads and they will go to mostly stand alone row houses - they know where their consumer are - the middle class people.
Few days back, I went to put oil in my scooty (two wheeler) and I was surprised to see a whole section in the petrol bunk is dedicated to one such marketing - pay with Phonepe - and get 20/- rupee bonus with every filling.
The interesting part of this story is that, they have dedicated lines where they will allow only those who would pay with Phonepe. At first, I got angry - how can you block two lines just forcing to use a particular app! I did not have the app, but the other lines were pretty crowded - this is how they make you habituated. And see what a niche trick Phonepe has picked - they have picked the petrol bunk where they know every day, they can add thousands of new customers. They must have done a nice deal with BPCL - the oil company for this. And this is just one outlet - imagine they doing this throughout all outlets of BPCL - they must be adding millions of consumers every day.
So its like they force you to use the app - but then they reward you a bit for you to get habituated - you scan first and then it comes with 20/- additional money - the app sends a URL, you need to open that and show the QR code to the person, he will fill petrol of only that much value. If for some reason, it will be less, then the remaining amount will be refunded. They did quite a lot work before coming up with this plan, isn't it ? Now they have even facility, where you can pay in advance before coming to the fuel station. Just show them that QR code, and you can fill it. They have full plan to get us used to this.
Coming back I was thinking, if we can have similar tricks with Leo and HIVE. We have been building great features, but for it to reach masses, don't we need some niche marketing ? There are anticipation that Leo would grow more than 1000% which is fair based on all the hard work by the team. I personally also believe in Leo so I am not touching my more than 16k Leo anytime before it hits 10$. But can a little niche marketing bring that magic very soon ? Same goes with HIVE - WE are one of a kind - but we still are far from selling it to masses. Only people who have been on this place know the capability - but we need to sell to newcomers , investors. Hopefully, 2022 will be our year. What do you say ? The HBD interest is something I am seriously considering to invest soon - having a stable income will help me become full time here while enjoying my time.
I had to stop the guy and take some photos while coming back - he said this new way of selling has made him earn much better than what he used to.

i am not rich, so I belong to middle class and i buy household from these hawkers who come into the streets. We still have hawkers here selling things on bicycle too. Some of the products they sell are very cheap as well as solid.
Ya, many people buy - even going to market and getting a better quality needs time and money - having something provided at doorstep makes the trick. I would even buy because its quick and easy.
Agreed, there are benefits to buy from them. We save our time as well as some money. They are happy to take little profit. That's what I love about them. On the other hand if we go to buy same product from the market we get it at expensive price.

Only few bike sellers I have seen in my living area what was selling household items. But there are many van sellers available in my state. Customers less consider to buying items from them because price is expensive than market. We usually go to the market and buy necessary items. Due to the current economical problems people think twice before get items.
There are a lot of these hawkers in our country. All their atoms are available at the same rate. They sell all items for Rs. 100. They sell plastic and steel utensils and silver utensils.
Pick anything for 100/- - that's the selling trick.
Selling at home with so many products on one motorcycle. Is it really possible? I was surprised and amazed
Very nicely managed to put all things on the bike, I also wonder sometimes, how he plans to take out items which he would sell.

Well to be honest i have never supported the leofinance and the leo token, because i dint know trey existed until like past week, but i find your expectations of it really insightful about its community and its future. Because a man like you woulnt back a useless token.
