Can I delegate my STEM tokens to another account ?

I want to curate on stemgeeks , but I don't want to disappoint my hive friends as well

I find stemgeeks having a lot of opportunity to bring people on hive and that was the reason, I bought and staked around 44.5 k STEM. But I do not want to disappoint my hive friends as well. I think, stemgeeks should have a similar feature as @leofinance, where I can set my vote weight multipier, which I can set with a higher percentage. Even though it does not work for me (I did a post, but then nothing much happened) correctly in Leofinance, ideally it should work.

Without the vote weight multipier, the other option would be to delegate my stems to another account and curate using that account on stemgeeks. But right now, I don't even see that option in my stemgeeks wallet.

@themarkymark , is there any other way, I can delegate my stem to another account ? or I will have to power down and then take them to another account ?

I recommend setting up a dedicated account for voting on STEM posts. @sanjeevm.stem or @sanjeevm-stem is the common way people would solve this.

Due to how tribes work, trying to manage two voting power pools while having one vote button is virtually impossible. You will end up wasting a lot of your voting power by doing this.

I recommend setting up a second account, and then delegate it to that account. If you need help, feel free to hit me up in Discord.

Unfortunately Discord is blocked by our Firewall - I will connect with you when I log in from my personal laptop ( I barely get that as the kids take them to do their online stuff now a days). I can set up or create another account, how can I delegate stem to that ?

As Marky said =, a second account and delegating is the way to do it. I created a meestemboom account (this one) so as not to mess up my votes on Hive from my main account meesterboom.

In hive engine it is quite easy to delegate, it is the double-headed arrow icon at the end of the row for your coin, delegate your tokens to your second account and boom, you can curate separately

LOL, all these days, I was thinking @meestemboom is created by someone else to impersonate @meesterboom 😁

As meestemboom told, use double headed arrow, it is the last symbol against the token ticker on Hive Engine Wallet.

I don't see a simple way of delegating without powering down the STEM tokens. I think first you will need to Powerdown and then create a new account and then send all tokens to the new account which you create say sanjeevm.stem and then start curation. I did the same for leofinance, send all the LEO tokens I had to a new account that I created by name @gungunkrishu.leo; staked tokens and started curation. cheers

Marky said, it can be delegated on Hive Engine - so I will create a new account and delegate STEM to that account and then use that to curate. Will do soon.

Delegation is the easiest, you don't need to power down. I delegate my tokens often on hive-engine. You're in good hands with mark!

You can delegate Tokens using the delegate function on hive-engine:

Or isn't this working if you powered them up?

As I can check in comment... and will recommend to create new account and delegate the STEM to new account ... this is the easiest way around....
Multiplier function is not woeking some time for WEED also... :(
