Blockchain Technology Is Unstoppable || Resistance Is Futile

Cryptocurrency and blockchain are becoming household terms in society, whether society likes it or not. Parts of society actually don't like it. Those whose existence is threatened by trustless systems do not like blockchain technology one bit, once they understand what it stands for and what we can achieve with it. But one could argue that not liking the technology is all they can do.

Blockchain technology is growing it's influence exponentially. More and more people are coming in contact with it. From the traders and holders to those of us deep within various use cases of blockchain like Hive. At this point blockchain is getting closer and closer to internet status. Imagine someone trying to end the internet. That's an absurd thought. I think decentralization is heading that way. Like the hydra you cut off one head and two pop up.

Take Hive again for example. First there was that other blockchain where someone tried to force centralized power upon it. Pretty soon Hive emerged from the ashes. Somewhere along the line Blurt also appeared. Blockchains are getting created, forked and nodes exist all over the world, operating within different law systems.

We've seen it before where entities would try to eliminate peer-to-peer networks in the form of torrents. All the popular websites like piratebay did was change location and start the process again and again and again. Even making things illegal is futile. People will find ways to do what they do if they believe in it. The powers that be right now will eventually have to decide if they're along for the ride, or if they want to disappear from the history books.

You are right. They can't stop it. I think they know they cant stop it.

So they will "try" to stop it, then give up. After everyone adopts it, that's when the trouble comes. They will enter in with miraculous, awesome, done for you crypto and try to coopt the whole thing. That's when the real battle comes. Will everyday people fight to keep freedom after they have won it when the authorities come in with easy crypto on a silver platter.

I hope so. This is why we need to get more and more people a taste of the decentralized options instead of centralized. Get them used to the freedom (and responsibilities) of real crypto and blockchain.

This is the right mindset. They can and will try to stop it. But you can't stop a movement if literally everyone is part of that movement. That's like trying to ban drinking coffee or something.
