The american dream is in danger
The American dream has been one since the 1960s and it is a house with a garden and 2 cars, for the citizens of the United States today this is impossible and it seems like a bad joke, behind is this American dream so beautiful that yes, it was possible for decades, but an inflation of 7.5% this fiscal year distances the population from that dream.
Surveys don't lie and food prices don't either, one respondent assures that the basket of eggs went from costing 0.88 cents to costing 1.6 dollars, that's almost 100%, this is due to the problem in the chain of supplies that arose with the global health crisis, the issue is that you have to be realistic these prices are here to stay and the population of the United States is not used to an abrupt rise in prices.
Not only food but fuel does not stop rising and the United States buy fewer products with their 100 dollar bill, this has made many unhappy with their wages and some strikes have started, recently there was a trace of the Kellogg factory that produces cereals and this produced a shortage in some schools, the issue is that the salary increase brings more inflation.
With a one-year health crisis and now that everything is back to normal, many companies are not prepared to produce what they produced before the pandemic, employees are unhappy and demand higher wages, a meat producer explained that his inputs increased by 18%, which forced him to increase the price by 19.5% and this produced an increase in his profits, since the demand for meat is as usual, but this is not the reality of all companies or all sectors.
