Ha, I totally forgot about KOIN after mining some before it wrecked my old power supply unit in my pc! Glad to hear it's making some moves. Maybe if I can get my pc fixed I'll get some mining done in the last sprint but sounds like it's cheaper to buy it and I'm not risking having my pc down for a 3Rd time in a couple of months!
Still need to get some AVA, it's probably one of the few companies out there with a use case for crypto - thanks for the reminder!

KOIN: I stopped mining after 5 or 6 days. The first and second day was good, and then the bigger miners installed themselves. Had 2 laptops running with a total of 4 MHash or something? At start KOIN was 3ct on Uniswap; After a few weeks, it went down to 1ct and kinda stayed there. Others started to notice as well, the big 'cafe' miner dumping all it mined. In the Discord community, it became clear many stopped buying at higher prices than 1ct. I would not suggest trying and mine. Ether fees apply with each proof. A few big farm miners, of which one is this 'cafe' one. With some small PC, it's way more efficient to buy at Uniswap instead of trying to compete :)
AVA: the interesting part is, they give AVA to all those purchasing through the Travala shop. 2% of the purchase value. Apparently, they had a pool of tokens for this, but this run dry. Now they buy AVA from the market to continue this freebee. The perfect method to get none-crypto people acquainted with crypto (yes, also those paying with fiat receive AVA). Their gross revenues are increasing a lot, even in COVID times. Check the blog of Trumpman, he has some post about this. This is the first (and only) compelling mass-market service I know linking in the crypto space. The Travala company had crowdfunding (fiat investment) running late last year, equity. I was just a few days too late to jump on that one. Was overfunded quite a lot. Regardless of my participation, also that one shows 1) how serious this company is 2) the value of what they do.

I think we stopped mining KOIN at about the same time - once I found out there was a huge miner that had a large portion of the tokens, I switched my miner off and will probably just get some on Uniswap if I have the desire to - those ETH fees are also really off-putting!
OK, I'll not sleep on AVA anymore, it will only grow in popularity once the world opens up again to traveling :)

AVA: Trumpman posted their monthly revenues some months or so ago, from an AMA he attended. Steep growth, still not a lot, but it's up up and up, even during COVID times :) All the new money coming into crypto must eyeball AVA as well. Otherwise, I can't explain the quick recovery after the drama at the beginning of the week. Last days holding strong as well, even when BTC decided to dip its toes back to the 46k mark.

Hahahaha, nice! We can shake hands when we see AVA getting into the top 10. Owwwww, maybe it'll enter the top 1000, or top 10000 at some stage. Hopefully not the later though 🎶

I think we are close to 10000 coins. Some are not listed like a few on hivenegine. When counting all of those, must be 10k coins 🙃 Round the world and Beers sounds super, the slow version round the world, Travala will love this, so many nights to book, so many AVA to receive. Euhmm maybe book all the nights upfront for the next two years or so. The future value of the bonus AVA today will be something like 30$ rendering the booked nights for free (didn't do the math). Ok ok, some risks here. We may not get to all the hotels on the days booked, which is waiste of money. AVA may also be worth 50$... oww that risk is actually a bonus 🤣🤣 AVA may become worth zero... Ah well, then we had a lot of fun 🤣🤣
