RE: ISO 20022 Hackathon by Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and SWIFT

Cross border payments were exactly the reason I entered the Cryptosphere. I had such highhopes for transparent, almost zero cost, superfast paments but sadly not. Whilst crypto would be the perfect vehicle, its tainted by traders who see it as nothing more than a game and who create volatility in the markets to fuel the rises and falls whilst hoping to make a 'profit'.
Meanwhile, the banks they allege to despise take advantage of this by introducing new, faster and cheaper payment methods whilst retaining control. SEPA is excellent and does everything Crypto ought to except of course it's still centralised and still controlled by the central banks.

Crypto has it all, except for the majority of the user base who still think of it as a game to make a few quid from!
