RE: The Changing Nature Of Work

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

France is trying to get people back into the office now but still heavy resistance. We will be opening up once 70% vaccination rate but the million dollar question everyone is asking is What about the kids? there is no Vax or treatment available for children under 12.

I think a battle will emerge with the silent majority, we've seen the vocal minority make fools of themselves now the silent majority will come into play. They do things a little different. Where the vocal take to the streets and cause headaches. The silent Majority just ignore you and continue.

When the order to go back to the office comes you will find 99% do not return and just say nope. You can not send in police or military or do anything in this regard. Changing work place policies means you lose experienced and knowledgeable staff as they look for smaller companies who might not pay as much but now have a winning ticket, work from home a real work/life balance.

It will be interesting, silent majority is always more powerful and do not play games. If it's a no, it it a no.

You are right. If the majority of workers hand in their notice, like many are doing causing the "Great Resignation", there is little companies can do.
