As I'm having my coffee, I'm listening the the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. I love his podcast, and it's also great background noise for when you really don't want to listen. Anyway, I saw the other day that Beeple was on the show so I had to check it out. The problem is, it's like 3 fuckin hours long so I'm listening in chunks.

If you've never heard of Beeple, his real name is Michael Winklemann, and he's a digital artist, animator, and graphic designer. I'd argue that he is the most well-known NFT artist in the world. Most people know his name from reading the news headlines that one of his NFTs sold for $69 million, nice. This man has made over $100 million selling ridiculous NFTs for insane amounts of money in the past year alone. His art is fucking good. Like, it's so weird and good. He makes a new piece every single day and plans to do that for the rest of his life. Hearing perspectives on things from a guy that makes NFTs like the ones below is just really interesting. I have a lot of respect for Beeple as an artist. The pure dedication that it takes to make a new art piece every day... Holy shit. Especially at this caliber. Like I could draw stick figures every day but this guy makes a new 3D digital art piece every day. His work is very weird. I'd call the style dystopian. The Elon Musk GIGACHAD one is fucking brilliant. Of course he has the dog for Dogecoin. This guy has a pretty crazy imagination, and this podcast goes waaaaaay off lol. They talked about everything from animating dicks to genetic engineering while enjoying an 18 year old whiskey. The Beeple gifted Joe a vIRL NFT. Of course it's the GIGACHAD one lol. This is an NFT that's 1 of 100 and is tied to this physical art piece shown in the video.

I highly recommend listening to this episode of the Joe Rogan experience. I love his podcast, so I'm a little biased. But the variety of random and stupid topics are pure gold. Even if you've never heard of Beeple, it's a great listen. Getting a peak inside how he explains making his digital art pieces is really interesting.
