They are using hydro electric. It's a power saving. Beside, Canada is a cold country, they can even save more energy for mining which the mining machines needed (cold weather).

It makes sense, but when I wrote the post, I thought about the reality of other countries that can adopt this type of process to generate a profit supported by a "plan B".
