Bitcoin makes you your own bank

Does this mean that banks will eventually go the way of the dinosaur?

Probably not, but they will certainly be different in the future.

As technology has progressed, we have seen a number of industries eliminated and impacted.

I'd also like to add that camera phones have made everyone photographers and video producers.

I remember hearing a comment from Steven Spielberg saying there are going to be some really great directors coming out in the near future because the barrier to entry as been completely eliminated.

Anyone with a camera phone can now become their own movie maker.

Bitcoin allows everyone to be their own bank.

Further, Defi allows them to invest their money similar to the way a bank does.
