EOS Network Foundation announced the EOS EVM "Trust Network". Currently in the testnet preview stage, the testnet for users is expected to be launched on May 23, and the mainnet and EVM Token will be launched in Sept-Oct

TrustEVM is an Eth Virtual Machine based on the EOS network, offering a turn-key solution for developers to operate their apps on an full #Ethereum-compatible chain while enjoying the high throughput, scalability, security and reliability from EOS.
EOS EVM is live on the testnet now, and will launch on the main net around September.
Historically, L1's have a massive EVM pump in the months leading up to EVM deployment on the mainnet, so the next few months should be super bullish for $EOS.

Thanks for this news! I had not heard of this EVM on EOS but I will research it.
I wonder how it compares to PulseChain which has been in testnet for months and should launch any week now. It is a full stake fork of Etherium so every token anyone owns on Etherium will appear on PulseChain on day one. They call it the worlds biggest airdrop. Seems a lot of projects are trying to provide an alternative way to run EVM code since Ethereum gas fees are high and the transactions are slow compared to a few seconds on EOS and PulseChain. Interesting times!
