avatar

Blockchain technology has opened ways for different innovations to industries around the globe which include finance and security. Now we have seen one of the most exciting thing in the blockchain world is Play to Earn games. And 2021 is considered to be one of the most popular year for these P2E games.

These blockchain gaming are considered to have generated over $2.3 billion in the year 2021. The developers on blockchain gaming integrate play to earn structure into them, which also provides the chance to the users to earn cryptocurrency, NFTs and digital arts and can then trade it on different markets.

Its understandable that we don't have that much play to earn games and also the games in different categories are limited but as the concept of Play to Earn is very new, so we may see the expansion in the this field with a bunch of new games with different categories.

It also will be sort of cool to see players across the globe get connected and play multiplayer games which are based on this play to earn mechanism. It will also provide a good way of expanding our connections.

I would like to mention Splinterlands which is one of the renowned game on Hive blockchain and is on top on https://dappradar.com/rankings.

Recently we also see some of the other games on Hive being developed lately, and it may continue to keep coming with the trend of Play to Earn gaming going popular.

What else would one want enjoying playing games and at the same time collect some rewards as well, which may be in shape of cryptocurrency, NFTs etc.
