Brave Browser being a free and open-source web browser caught some good attention among the crypto community some time ago because Brave browser offered to be privacy focused and also had the feature of blocking ads. Brave also announced to pay BAT tokens for it's users.

I think most of us know about Opera browser as well. And Opera has also now added crypto wallet to its browser which supports different blockchains like Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon and Ronin. And this move is considered to be giving a competition to Brave browser as brave browser is supposed to be a dominant browser for users of Web3.

This announcement from Opera could be big by in terms of supporting new digital assets and probably we may see other browsers also jumping into this competition. And why not, because the world is now recognizing the worth of blockchain technology.

We may see a bunch of other blockchains added as well in future in order to attract millions of other users as well on Opera browser.

Just like Brave browser, Opera supports swapping between different assets on the supported chains. But some still think that Brave Browser still has an edge over Opera because of the privacy over Brave and also the users of Brave being paid while watching ads over the browser in shape of BAT tokens.

Comparing Brave Browser to Opera is still very much new but the growth it has shown in terms of gaining popularity and gaining a number of users is something can't be denied. And those users who are more focused on their privacy, Brave browser has been popular among those users.

I believe its actually good for the crypto community and blockchain that big companies are now realizing the worth of this technology and the use cases cryptos are offering with these different blockchains and embracing the technology.
