Metaverse and the new jobs - El metaverso y los nuevos trabajos

The digital world that is appearing brings with it new challenges never before posed.

Within this context, jobs are being created in professions that did not exist until now and also in some conventional ones but oriented towards this type of project.

Systems and hardware engineers will always be necessary, challenges on both sides of technology are the order of the day as this digital world with human interaction encompasses a myriad of different technological operations. Let's not forget that the metaverse proposes individual and shared interaction with a huge number of digital objects, it is even already being seen that we can trade with them and one way is that of the already usual NFT.

Application developers are playing a leading role and will be required even more in the future digital world. And let's not forget the developers specialized in 3D games, they too are invited to this world where fun and entertainment will be key to attracting more and more users.

So far they are existing professions and very frequent today, but now new specialties are beginning, for example, that of content creators for the virtual world. This specialty is already highly sought after, all the companies that already work in the metaverse want their products to be the most favored with the preferences of the consuming public and for this, they must differentiate themselves from others with more and better content, a difficult task that will require large amounts of talent and inventiveness, as compensation the salaries will be very interesting.

Another interesting and much-needed position will be that of digital marketing specialists, something little developed until now and that will require a large dose of research and fieldwork to explore the possibilities and the reaction of the consuming public.

Virtual security will also be an area that will require specialized professionals, a few days ago the news broke that the avatar of a young woman who was walking and having fun in the metaverse was raped at a party, of course, virtual but it is still a topic worrying, even more so if we think that real people are projected in their digital versions and are represented by them in all aspects of life, including the psychological. Great job this virtual security, as in the real world they will have to take care of people and their possessions, if anyone thought that this would be a thing of the past, they are very wrong.

There are other tasks that must be covered and some surely have not even been thought of yet, the truth is that a whole spectrum of new jobs and professions is opening up and it is already being seen in the personnel requirements of companies dedicated to the metaverse, they do not fit doubts that in the coming months and years the demand will be even greater.

El mundo digital que está asomando trae aparejado nuevos desafíos jamás planteados hasta ahora.

Dentro de ese contexto se están generando puestos de trabajo en profesiones que no existían hasta el presente y también en algunas convencionales pero orientadas hacia este tipo de proyectos.

Ingenieros en sistemas y en hardware siempre serán necesarios, los retos en ambos lados de la tecnología están a la orden del día ya que este mundo digital con interacción humana abarca una enormidad de diferentes funcionamientos tecnológicos. No olvidemos que el metaverso propone la interacción individual y compartida con una enorme cantidad de objetos digitales, incluso ya se está viendo que podemos comerciar con ellos y una forma es la de los ya habituales NFT.

Los desarrolladores de aplicaciones están teniendo un papel preponderante y serán requeridos aún más en el futuro mundo digital. Y no olvidemos a los desarrolladores especializados en juegos 3D también ellos están invitados a este mundo donde la diversión y el entretenimiento serán claves para atraer más y más usuarios.

Hasta aquí son profesiones existentes y muy frecuentes en la actualidad, pero ahora comienzan nuevas especialidades, por ejemplo, la de creadores de contenidos para el mundo virtual. Esta especialidad ya es muy buscada, todas las empresas que ya trabajan en el metaverso desean que sus productos sean los más favorecidos con las preferencias del público consumidor y para ello deberán diferenciarse de los demás con más y mejores contenidos, tarea difícil que demandará grandes cantidades de talento e inventiva, como contraprestación los salarios serán muy interesantes.

Otra posición interesante y muy requerida será la de especialistas en marketing digital, algo poco desarrollado hasta ahora y que demandará una gran dosis de investigación y trabajo de campo para explorar las posibilidades y la reacción del público consumidor.

La seguridad virtual también será un rubro que requerirá de profesionales especializados, hace pocos días se conoció la noticia que el avatar de una joven que estaba paseando y divirtiéndose en el metaverso fue violada en una fiesta, por supuesto virtual pero no deja de ser un tema preocupante, más aún si pensamos en que las personas reales se proyectan en sus versiones digital y son representados por estas en todos los aspectos de la vida, inclusive en el psicológico. Gran trabajo este de la seguridad virtual, como en el mundo real tendrán que cuidar de las personas y de sus posesiones, si alguno pensó que eso sería cosa del pasado, está muy equivocado.

Hay otras tareas que deberán ser cubiertas y algunas seguramente todavía ni siquiera se han pensado, lo cierto es que se abre todo un espectro de nuevo trabajos y profesiones y ya se está viendo en los requerimientos de personal de las empresas dedicadas al metaverso, no caben dudas que en los próximos meses y años la demanda será todavía mayor.
