My dCity Optimization - Technology Purchase & Some Math
Hey All;
It's been a long time that I didn't look into my dCity economics. With some HIVE purchase close to 9k+ HIVE Yesterday, I thought it would be good to do some optimization to my dCity. Here is the snapshot of the city before any card/technology was purchased.
Have a look at the SIM income which is close to 7.4K+ highlighted in Green [dollar & plane sign] towards the left side of the image.
Technology Dyson Sphere
For a long time now, I've been waiting for the technology Dyson Sphere to be mined. The main advantage of having this technology card is that it adds further +8 SIM income to all the Solar Plant cards you hold.
It was my bad luck that I didn't receive Dyson technology to date. But now when you have the Cash/HIVE you are the KING. So without further ado, I went ahead of buying this technology. If I tell you the price at what I bought this technology you will be amazed.
There were only 3 Technology Dyson Sphere being sold in the market. The one which is missing is the one I bought for 90 HIVE; quite a big price paid for the technology I badly wanted for my dCity. But then I think it's OK; if it gives you the satisfaction you were looking for then the price doesn't matter at all.
I was having close to 26 Solar Plant Cards. Now buying this Dyson technology card, I get an extra 208 [26*8] SIM daily added to my SIM income. SIM currently is trading for 0.00496 HIVE for 1 SIM
Which means I get an extra HIVE daily for this Dyson Sphere Technology purchase. And to ROI on the purchase of this technology card, it would take me 90 days. In between if the SIM price increases it will take even lesser days.
Here is the snapshot of the Optimized dCity after having purchased the Dyson Sphere technology card.
You can clearly see the difference in the SIM income now which is close to 7.6K+ as compared to 7.4K+ being earlier. Slowly and gradually I'm building a strong dCity that generates a decent income. I'm not fully sure whether it was a wise decision to buy the technology card for 90 HIVE OR I should have waited for it to be minted. I had been waiting for a long time now but then finally decided to buy it from the market. Now the time is gonna tell If it was a wise decision or NOT...
Have your say on the technology cards? Which technology card you are craving to be minted for your City? If it's something that I can give it out, I'll be giving one technology card for FREE. To a random person who comments as to why he or she needs that card & how is it going to help build their dCity...

The Sphere for 90 Hive was a steal for you, if the investment is back in 90 days. Nice! For others with much less solar plants like myself of course it would make no sense.
I would love to get the Robocop or Police Equipment. So far I was unlucky and got only 2 tech cards in total.

Came in just in time, as now riots are possible with the new update😨.
I guess it is right move. If you get it then you can still sell it for (90-Hve earned) to be in "No profit and no loss" strategy.
