Nuclear icebreakers are totally a USSR and Russia thing.
I remember learning about it a while ago and was amazed by the utility and necessity thereof in the frozen seas.

Thanks for the comment! In the USA, there are also icebreakers, but there are few of them. Sometimes it is more profitable to pay another country to navigate ships in ice than to build your own fleet, if, in this, there is no constant need. Russia has a huge coastline in the Arctic Ocean and icebreakers are needed.
