The Story of a GREAT token by a Nuthouse material Brain

(Edited)

When starting to write this post, we are just short of one hour before this OWL token will hit the first CEX. MEXC it is. Decided by the MEXC community. Discovered this token when the bear market started back in December 2021. A beautiful discovery, since this token is one of the few that isn't showing any signs of bear, it moved all the way up from 0.5ct back in December to around 2.2ct at the time of writing.

How: You may Ask?

Because it's one of those few projects that has guaranteed revenue. The main project is 'OWL.GAMES' offering a tremendous amount of gambling and casino games. And you all know: Casino's always win!

Their business is perfect from a cost and revenue point of view. The team is hardly spending time (and therefore money) building games themselves. Instead, they bring onboard 3rd party games under their own brand. From a cost predictability perspective, this can't be better. No risks for the team whenever a game is not doing what it should do. When bugs are found, it's not the team's cost to fix them. The burden is on their game suppliers. From a revenue perspective, this may not be that predictable though. However, revenue and costs can easily be tightened together. The team never disclosed what type of contracts they have with their game suppliers, but I wouldn't be surprised if they adopted a revenue share model. Increase in revenue, an increase in the cost. Decrease in revenue, a decrease in costs. No revenue, no cost. All in all, that are the best business/financial deals that can be made for a service such as OWL.GAMES.

Native Token

Games can be played with many different tokens. Every time when OWL.GAMES onboard a token, it gets into a deal with the token eco-system to get them to run marketing campaigns and to make sure OWL.GAMES is made part of the service set of that eco-system.

Next to this wide range of non-native tokens, OWL.GAMES has its own token 'OWL' that can be used to gamble with. A little incentive is given to gamblers using OWL: Either the chances to win are increased by 10%, or the winnings are increased by 10% over using any other supported token.

OWLDAO: The Magic

Next to OWL.GAMES, the team created OWLDAO. Though this sounds like a decentralised autonomous organisation, currently OWLDAO is being developed to become a proper DAO. That said, it runs from day one a staking system with which users can either earn rewards in a stable token 'BUSD', or the native token 'OWL'. Funds for the rewards come from a revenue share from gross revenues by OWL.GAMES.

As I pointed out previously, this setup is a guaranteed income for OWLDAO for as long as OWL.GAMES is in operation and some or more users are playing the casino games. Remember, the casino never loses money, they are (over time) always earning more money than they spend on their players.

Huge Staking Rewards

These days staking rewards varies between 30% and 40%. Stable pool to the downside and native pool to the upside of this range. In the last half-year or so, these APY's came down a lot, at least a 4x. Can you imagine? When crypto went into the bear mode, around 160% APY could be earned in the stable token 'BUSD'? Even today the rewards on the stable pool are huge: 33,08%. What other service does provide such staking rewards without the need to swap its own token which would add selling pressure to the OWL token? In fact, OWL creates buying pressure from this revenue share deal with OWL.GAMES. Every month they buy the needed OWL from the OWL market to be used for the native staking pool.

The Future

It is always super hard to determine the future. However, I kinda expect that OWL.GAMES will slowly increase its reach, its gambler user base, and with that its revenues. With such an increase in revenue, OWLDAO will also see a (slow) increase in revenue which allows more OWL tokens in staking whilst keeping the APY of the two pools more or less constant over time. However, APY's may vary over time as well which depends on various factors such as OWL.GAMES revenues, crypto bears (or bulls) and interest in the token itself...and maybe also the OWL token launch at MEXC. At the time of writing still 20 minutes to go before the launch. Will OWL be picked up by the MEXC traders and investors? Will OWL owners take this opportunity to dump some of their tokens? Who knows. At this point, I'm wondering why the hell the OWLDAO/MEXC community decided to vote 'YES' for a listing at MEXC since I believe this can harm the token more than it'll do good. But time will tell.

...a little Time later

I'm watching all the new users coming to OWLDAO Telegram channel. Seems that every few seconds a new user is greeted. A stream that is ongoing for at least a few hours. What is happening? More than 7k new users in. MEXC shows at least they increased the reach for the OWL token (and with that its eco-system) a lot!

But man! What stupid newbie questions I see in Telegram. Many ask the basic of basic questions anyone who plans to invest in a token can easily read on the project's main page / website, no need to dig into the whitepaper for most of them. Fortunate is that the admins stay very patient and answer all the questions, regardless of their stupidity or not.

4 minutes to go before trading starts. In the meantime, I couldn't find a way to deposit OWL tokens to MEXC, so I suspect this is not possible yet. The first trades will therefore be done with new monies!

Ready for the Nuthouse

Turned out I was looking at the wrong CEX. KuCOIN instead of MEXC. Obviously, I couldn't find the token as well as the possibility to deposit them from the DEX side of crypto. And you know what? The launch is tomorrow at 16hrs CET, instead of today. Now you understand the title of this tiny paragraph?

Note

...that whenever you got excited and want to enter the OWL eco-system, each on-chain transaction with the OWl token, will incur a tax of 10%. This tax is also applicable when transferring OWL tokens from BSC or Polygon chains to MEXC. However, from CEX to chain, no tax is applied. Just saying :)

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

True, the post Title stole some of the words of this tiny paragraph Title. I think the little guy is angry at the big guy now.

sound concept and should at least survive the bear market. me personally i have given up trying to work on bsc, polychain, theta matic whatevers... same with cex and dex and bridges etc. i am sorta crypto'ed out to be honest.
what wallet supports owl? can one slap it on a ledger for example?

DEX/CEX: In times like this its best not to move around buying/selling tokens, unless one is a great trader 😉
OWL/Wallet: Metamask and OWL has it's own (online) wallet in owl.games
OWL/Ledger: Have no idea if that is possible. you probably know: metamask supported tokens can all be supported by ledger? or isn't it that straightforward?
OWL staking: Staking is done in their smart contract, if this can be on ledger, donno. expect it can't.

Note: OWL team is anon... one of the red flags in crypto world. but so far so good, they seem to be honest.

well all the best with them. may well be they are anon as they are resident in a country where gambling online is prohibited or some such nefarious reason. does not imply they are working a rugpull
