Starlink Beta is approved: A big step towards a global internet
Another advancement in technology, as the US Federal Telecommunications Agency recently approved terminals to access SpaceX's Starlink network. This means that the equipment can be sold soon.
Starlink is a SpaceX global broadband project and the main idea is to provide broadband internet through more than 12,000 to 42,000 satellites in which they will be orbiting the Earth, forming a kind of belt and the forecast is that it is still in this decade.
Imagine someone who eventually got lost on a trail or is simply on a family farm in the middle of nowhere ... Through Starlink anyone can use their internet without any problems. Not bad right?
The satellites will be orbited around 550 km from Earth and there are reports of people saying that they have already observed these satellites as shown in the video below:
It must be an incredible experience to see alive and well ... if I had seen these satellites at the same time I would shout that ETs exist (despite knowing that yes haha).
When it starts to be marketed, people should receive a kit containing two pieces, a disk-shaped antenna and interestingly Musk describes it as "the size of a medium pizza" and the other the Wi-Fi router. The antenna should be facing to the sky and when it is on, it will direct to the nearest satellite.
Below we will see some satellites that are in a SpaceX building in Texas. Technically they will be positioned in this pattern.
SpaceX is not the only one with this project to create a constellation of satellites that will cover the entire Earth, we can also mention Amazon, OneWeb and Apple. This internet plan coming from space has been around for a long time but for reasons of high costs, it was never realized. But as we know, Musk's company is always ahead of the rest and the latest achievements prove it.
There is no doubt that Musk will be practically the owner of all the internet in the world and his ambitions only increase the number of milestones achieved by technology, as the universal internet will soon be a reality and his goal of covering rural areas and remote places will finally be achieved for its broadband internet.
Mais um avanço para a tecnologia, pois a Agência Federal de Telecomunicações dos EUA (FCC) recentemente aprovou terminais de acesso à rede Starlink, da SpaceX. Isso quer dizer que os equipamentos podem ser comercializados em breve.
Starlink é um projeto de banda larga global da SpaceX e a ideia principal é fornecer internet banda larga através de mais de 12 mil a 42 mil satélites em que estarão em órbita da Terra, formando uma espécie de cinturão e a previsão é que seja ainda nesta década.
Imagine alguém que eventualmente se perdeu em uma trilha ou simplesmente está em uma fazenda da família que se encontra no meio do nada... Através da Starlink qualquer pessoa poderá utilizar a sua internet sem problemas. Nada mal certo?
Os satélites ficarão orbitados por volta de 550 km da Terra e há relatos de pessoas dizendo que já chegaram a observar esses satélites conforme o vídeo abaixo:
Deve ser uma experiência incrível de ver ao avivo e siceramente... se eu tivesse visto esses satélites na mesma hora eu iria gritar que ETs existem (apesar de saber que sim haha).
Quando começar a ser comercializada, as pessoas deverão receber um kit contendo duas peças sendo uma antena em forma de disco e curiosamente Musk o descreve como "do tamanho de uma pizza média" e a outra o roteador Wi-Fi. A antena deverá está virada para o céu e quando estiver ligada, irá direcionar para o satélite mais próximo.
Logo abaixo veremos alguns satélites que estão num prédio da SpaceX no Texas. Tecnincamente ficarão posicionados neste padrão.
SpaceX não é a única com esse projeto de criar uma constelação de satélites que cobrirá toda a Terra, podemos citar também Amazon, OneWeb e a Apple. Esse plano de internet vinda pelo espaço já existe há muito tempo mas por questões de altos custos, nunca era concretizado. Mas como sabemos, a empresa de Musk está sempre a frente das demais e os ultimos feitos provam isso.
Não há duvidas de que Musk será praticamente o dono de toda internet no mundo e suas ambições só fazem crescer o número de marcos conquistados pela tecnologia, pois a internet universal será brevemente realidade e o seu objetivo de cobrir áreas rurais e lugares remotos serão finalmente alcançado por sua internet banda larga.
