If you could afford Starlink Internet service would you purchase and use it?

Late last night shortly after my stream, I was grabbing some clothing off the washing line and as I looked up I see A trail of tiny lights in the sky.

I didn't give it too much thought but when in bed it came into my mind again could it be that I just saw Elon Musk's Starlink satellites?

Now I can't confirm if they were in fact that but from my descriptions, I gave to fellow astronomers that soon backed up the idea that it was in fact the Starlink Satellites.

It inspired me to write this post tonight.

I decided to visit the Starlink site and put in an address near me for instance I used the address of A city building not to far from me and here is what I found.

It seems it is gonna be very expensive to use but what do Elon and his SpaceX promise?

According to the FAQ, "users can expect to see data speeds vary from 50Mb/s to 150Mb/s and latency from 20ms to 40ms in most locations" They also state that "As we launch more satellites, install more ground stations and improve our networking software, data speed, latency and uptime will improve dramatically."

FALCON 9 rocket which carries 60 Starlink Sattelites every launch has been launching more regularly in recent months so often that sometimes there are 2 possibly 3 launches A month, their ultimate goal is to get 1,500 Starlink satellites into Orbit.

SpaceX state that they are still in A beta period but Elon Musk is hopeful that they can come out of beta by summer this year

So here is my question to you all.

Would you if you could afford it buy and use Starlink service?

If yes tell me why.

If no tell me why

Elon has insisted in the future prices may well decrease but for now, it seems it is staying at £89 A month that's the equivalent to $125
