It’s definitely bittersweet for me. I love my iRobot, and was fascinated watching it learn my living space. It can’t replace the human hands to reach the corners yet. I wonder if one day a square one will exist that can reach those corners, with a little arm to clean the ledges. LOL - I might have just dreamt aloud.

One side of me likes the palm scan because it makes things harder for hackers. It’s interesting to me how much tech in older movies is coming to fruition.

Where has the tech existed, or have the ideas just been actualized over time?

I wonder about our fear, and if it aligns with our worry over death, in that we fear “robots” will replace us? It’s all an unknown to me. I work to remain open and curious.

Yeah it just seems very sytopian to me. I think it's more of an invasion of our biometric data than anything. Think about it.

You could use the argument that "good people have nothing to hide" but... Privacy is a basic human right.

Theres a reason people go to the bathroom with the door closed.
