Thanks for your quality overview of some of the exciting aspects of Hive in 2022.
We are wondering which game you previously worked on - the biggest in the world? As a wizard, maybe you picked World Of Warcraft? ;)

Thanks for this deep dive into the Hive blockchain... Yes since the times of Steemit, it has really evolved...
Will be using it also much more now.
Thanks again for this overview.
Regards, Stefan.

So, I've setup this account (new pseudo for obvious compartementalization reasons) following your video on LBRY.
Hope this HIVE thing will grow.

cyber-Ecency-greetings, brother, cahlen…
and, thanks again for the handholding here!

i am still pretty befuddled by the whole difference between “resource credits” and “points”; the original error-msg i received, when Ecency wouldn’t publish my first post, read: “Fail! - Not enough resource credits to preform an action! Boost your account to enjoy the experience. Do you want to boost your account now?”

when i clicked the “yes” button, it prompted me to pay the $9.99usd… when i looked elsewhere within the site, i saw a “get points” button:

img_2580 …that takes to this page:

img_2579 …which lead me to believe that i was buying “5,000 points”

however, as you stated on our other shared platform: “Cahlen · 7 hours ago
@attilio RC increases depending on how much Hive you have staked as Hive Power. RC isn't a currency that can be bought or sent, just used…”

and, the Ecency “help-desk” is, i assume stating the same thing, this way: “You should see Hive Power delegation to your account. https://ecency.com/@attilio-cesare/wallet

Purchase page in mobile app showed that payment was for account boost/delegation for 30 days. Points purchase is separate screen and it shows relevant info when purchasing points from that screen.

In mobile app, go to wallet page and open Hive Power token page, there you should see Received hive power delegation info. Also on website above link you can see Hive Power delegations of 303.070 Hive Power.”

…and, after i was able to successfully “publish” my intro, i did notice a 303.070 delegation from “Ecency” shortly before you delegated me 10 HP early today, but assumed that that was not for the $9.99 payment whereby i was expecting 5,000 points.

here is what my hive wallet within Ecency shows now:

img_2581…and, i assume everything is correct…

…even if i have very little clue about these machinations, particularly how and/what 30 days have to do with the whole deal.

if you feel so compelled to attempt to clarify all this for me, i would appreciate that; however, if you don’t want to or can not, i completely understand and will not hold it against you!

thanks, again, for all you be and do!!
