This is not a failure of @justinsunsteemit in my mind, it's the abject failure of Steemit to explain what Steem has become in the last 2 years. It took me months of using various bits of Steem's ecosystem to start to understand how everything fits together.
I'm crowdsourcing ideas for a video I'll do for BlockTV News, help me out if you want.

It is kind of curious why he didn't make the first post announcing this move on Steemit itself, isn't it? Imagine the traffic that would have brought to his new asset.

Exactly. And when I first clicked on his Medium post I got some sht about having read too many posts this month and a begging hand... eff 'dat sht!
