The unveiling of hybrid electric SUV with NFT technology

Over the past months, we’ve seen different designs and products of NFTs coming in different forms, but who would have thought about making a car an NFT. Alfa Romeo who is an auto maker has become the first person build a car that has its own NFT digital certificate.

According to the car maker he said: “This distinctive off-board feature emphasises the innovative nature of Alfa Romeo. Upon customer’s consent, the NFT will record vehicle data, generating a certificate that can be used as a guarantee of the car’s overall status, with a positive impact on its residual value,”

He also said: “On the pre-owned car market, NFT certification represents an additional source of credibility for owners or dealers to count on. In the meantime, buyers will be reassured in their choice of a secondhand car”.

The car Tonale which is produced by Alfa Romeo, is a plug-in hybrid SUV, it’s also a first of its kind in the premium compact SUV segment. This production is said to be in compete with BMW which is German make.

Alpha Romeo yesterday took to twitter and tweeted about the car saying:

“The Tonale concept vehicle is equipped with the highest levels of technology to ensure a connected, comfortable and dynamic user experience, while keeping the pleasure of a sporty drive at the forefront,” it said.

Alpha Romeo has also designed some amazing cars in the past in the history of sports making him known in the world. And some of the sports cars produce are Giulietta, Duetto and even the Spider.
