Tesla's First Stop To Romania Before Mooning

The first Model S that I saw from Tesla was back in 2016 when I was living in Germany, and it was actually a taxi. I moved to Norway a few months later and I was amazed to see the density of Teslas that Oslo was having. There were literally Tesla after Tesla after Tesla passing by. Charging stations were all over the place and the government was actively encouraging its people into buying EVs through tax deductions and other incentives.

In my native country Romania, I've only seen a couple of Model S and just one Model X that belongs to a local in a city near by. They're extremely rare and it's clear why. We currently don't have an official showroom in here, most of the imported Teslas are SH vehicles, totaling to around 50 distributed all over the country, charging stations distribution is not even near Norway and for an dedicated auto service you kind of have to leave the country.

On December 14th, 2020, Tesla has officially announced that is coming to Romania, opening its first showroom in here, among other Eastern European countries such as Poland, Hungary and Slovenia. The trend towards mass adoption for EVs is clear and Tesla is the Mike Tyson of the industry, proof of their success being the stocks of the most successful EV producers which are currently valued at $695 per share and register an almost 10x in one year. Not too many stocks have had such a price appreciation lately, right.

Opening a showroom in Romania means that they're hiring, and although I'd love to work for Tesla I'm lucid enough to realize I wouldn't score any open position they currently have. Tesla will hire for its future launch in Romania a Store Manager and a Tesla consultant, adding a service manager, senior service technician and service technician to their open positions.

What's highly important for Romanian Tesla enthusiasts and future buyers of their EVs is that they will have access to certain services and maintenance for the Model S, X and 3 which will probably be sold in my country's first Tesla show room, for the beginning the Model 3 being the only one shipped probably.

Fast charging stations will be installed as well all over the country, but we're not expecting too many. Most of the big supermarkets have regular charging stations in almost every important city in Romania and probably many more will be available. Hence the mass adoption of EVs in Eastern Europe is gaining ground.

Tesla is not the car for the average citizen though, not even in Germany, where the base price for a Model S is 82.000 euros. Moreover, there are rumors spreading regarding an extra 5000 euros to come on top of base prices as of 2021 in Europe. The bump in price is supposed to be justified by an upgrade for the Model S and X called Palladium, and both models will benefit from new battery modules as well as body improvements.

Elon Musk is now in the top 3 wealthiest men on this planet and imo his place is well deserved. Tesla in the car industry is to be compared with Bictoin for the current financial system. It has basically revolutionized it and it's taking over the world. Competition is getting stronger as European car manufacturers are investing into EV mass productions well, but for the moment the most successful project of Elon Musk is the leader in the segment.

Being in a bull market in crypto, the Lambo boys will probably once again show themselves out of the woods, although this run up seems to be mainly fueled by institutions, but if Romania has any of this kind I hope we can call them as of 2021 as the moon Tesla boys. Now, if you'd become a crypto millionaire in this cycle, what would you buy yourself, a Lamborghini or a Tesla Model S with all the goodies included?

Thanks for attention,
Adrian

That is good news at a some point in the past I wanted to get on the list of Tesla 3, only that I could take the car from Austria showroom. Making it available also in Romania is a great expansion plan. At the moment I might not hold a Tesla, but I've got some stocks into it which is much better :)

I wish I bought some stocks as well. It's unbelievable how much they've appreciated in one year.

The Nordic countries are way more developed than we are. Even the Germans are lagging behind.
