As far as I am aware, parboiling is not necessary for honey mushrooms. You may want to only eat the caps however. The stems can be fairly fibrous.

I've read that when you see honey mushrooms there are often shrimp of the woods growing nearby aka Entoloma abortivum they look kind of boring but are supposed to be a really tasty mushroom.
