Wow that is one heck of a hexagonal pored polypore fungi. I think even the bees would be jealous of the hexagons. I've never seen these polypores with hexagons that big. plus the red/orange color makes them stand out.

Maybe some small bees could use it for the colony :D I saw a hexagonal pored fungi only in books and on the Internet before this encounter.

It's a ready-made hive ready to move into for a new colony.
